Nabito-app is a Ruby on Rails applications that provides a server/cloud web GUI Nabito [open socket] boxes.
Nabito control box is essentially a smart electricity meter with authorization, billing capabilities and user management, currently it's in very early stage but some core functionalities are already in place. The control box consists of easy-to-get parts and is designed to be an intelligent and yet inexpensive electric socket solution for public and private parking lots for slow charging of electric vehicles. It runs on OrangePi One single-board computer (SCB). A build guide for the control box will be provided soon.
This application requires:
- Ruby 2.4.0
- Rails 5.0.2
- Postgres DB
We assume you know how a Rails application works and already have ruby, gems, rails and postgres environment set up. To install the app you first clone this and then in the app directory:
$ bundle install #install the necessary gems
$ rake db:setup #create the DB schema and seed master data
$ rails server #to start the app
