This facility was never a proper solution, but only papered over real bugs in the kernel. There are no known sysfs "timing bugs" since a long time.

This is what finally convinced me that systemd is a bad, bad, bad thing. Thank you for providing me the enlightenment, and <insert a word that's far less nice than "thank"> you for the breakage of the sensible udev rule for trackpoints. |
