I am a newbie in using TagSpaces and I would like using it like a note taking app.
There is functionnality I am using a lot which is taking a screenshot of a window and paste it in a note (CTRL + V). This functionnality is not working on my ubuntu using the native app in the HTML editor.

The workaround is the save it into a file and import it but it is not very productive.

But if I copy an image on a website using right click / copy image it works.

Is it a normal behavior or I've missed something ?

Hi,

it is definitive not the designed behavior and this should be fixed soon. I will have probably to update the version of the used summernote HTML editing library.

Thanks for your hint!

Hi,
+1 for this.

But if you work on this feature can you provide an option to always include image in content instead of create an external link ?

Currently when you drag and drop an image , it is included in base 64 : <img src="data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAAN...QmCC" style="width: 532px;">

But when you copy it from web you have an external link : <img src="https://xxxx.png">

With this feature, we can use tagspace off-line and really have persistent notes. (it's Evernote default behaviour and why i still use it ...)

best regards

David
