I'm using Chrome Version 51.0.2704.106 (64-bit) to play Pokemon series, particularly Pokemon Ruby and Emerald.

Are you loading in a save file from your desktop, or trying to play from an existing save the browser keeps?

Both are good for me. I'm trying to find a way to save.
Now, I'm trying to load from the local storage (indexed db instead of local storage, I edited the findValue and setValue for that). But it doesn't work.

It auto-saves when you pause it, or mouse over the save menu. To save before clearing browsing history, you need to export the saves in the .export file via the export option in the save menu (Then reimport back via the import option).
It is common for browser to impose storage limits, so make sure it's not being hit for you.

I also never tried to use indexeddb for this, as there wasn't a use case for it, and it's less supported.

But how can I load it ?
..
I used indexeddb because local storage just can only store max 10 MB.

Saves for each game are only a few kilobytes each. Plus, browsers usually have a setting for bumping up that 10 MB limit.

Unless you provide the code for the edit to the save system you have made, we might continue to be miscommunicating. Saves are generally only a few kilobytes in size, and you should test with a single game first without a prior save. There will be red Text on game load (on the reload playing it a second time) telling you if the save was loaded for the game. If there is no red text or an error message, then saves aren't saving for you.
I was busy irl as of late, so I'm sorry for not getting back in touch.

I'm having a similar problem, actually. The games save just fine, and the emulator shows the red "Loaded save." text, yet the game does not apply the save. It treats the game like it is brand new every time.
edit: I'm trying to load Pokemon Sapphire, so maybe that also has to do with it.

Hmm, not sure there. Pokemon was validated as saving at one point. That message also means the GUI found a save and loaded it in, so unless it's a corrupt save or rom, then unsure.

Hi all,
Could we save state of the game or not ?
Even in the http://taisel.github.io/IodineGBA, I still can not load the state. Do we have the secret way to load the save? If we do, please show me how to load the saved state.
Thanks a lot.
Maybe it's same issue with the closed ticket: #21
