This works on mobile, but the on-screen controls out of the box are not that good. Take a look at www.i53emu.com (still in development) on your iOS device. Portrait-mode is not working at the moment, as I'm working on it, but landscape is more or less done.
It requires a few changes here and there to get a consistent experience on iOS and it only runs on fairly new iPhones due to processor power, but I've almost completed Pokemon without problems while developing i53.

Thanks Onimishra, I took a look at it on both my android device and on an iPad Air 1, the android, Samsung Galaxy S6. The galaxy had bad processing issues, horribly laggy. But the interface worked. From what I could tell on iOS, the game ran fine with minimal lag, but no interface existed. I could access the game library and settings, as well as see the game window. But where the controls were on the android was a flat purple color. No buttons were present in either landscape or portrait mode.

I'm still working on the different platforms. Right now it focuses on iPhones, but iPads should be coming as well. Android phones have other native emulators, so i53 has iOS as main focus. Iodine is used as the execution engine, but google drive, controls etc, is my own.
But as you see it executes pretty well, so if you want to play around with Iodine in your own projects, performance should be okay.

I am not able to figure out if it works on mobile iOS, however, a similar emulator worked, so I imagine this would too. If on screen controls were added you could run the program on phones and tablets that do not use keyboard and mouse control.
