What are the controls Like a b start select
Cause here's what I got

A=space bar
Start=Enter
R=restart
Z=pause

Hmm, then it sounds like you either have a language setting that uses different keycodes for the same letters, or you have somehow set custom bindings.

Iodine uses not the actual letters, but the keycode associated with them. You can use something like http://keycode.info/ to see the keycodes your keyboard uses. For instance, my danish keyboard til output the english keycode for semi-colon 186, when I press my danish character æ.

The keycodes that Iodine actually uses are:
A: 88,
B: 90,
Select: 16,
Start: 13,
Right: 39,
Left: 37,
Up: 38,
Down: 40,
R: 83,
L: 65
