The VSCode extension addresses the common challenge that developers face when it comes to naming. It provides a solution for naming conventions.
The extension provides the following features:
- Name Genie automatically generates names for variables, functions, and class names that you want to create.
- You can provide up to three descriptions, and the feature will generate a name based on the given descriptions.
In order to use this extension, you will need an API key from OpenAI.
- Go to OpenAI's account page. If you don't have an account, you will need to create one or sign up.
- Click on the
Create new secret key
button. - Copy the key and paste it into the
API Key for ChatGPT
field in the extension settings.
Include if your extension adds any VS Code settings through the contributes.configuration
extension point.
