I would love to see another extension on Twitch where deaf streamer could have a thing any where on the overlay and people are free to press the button (like CC but maybe overlay image?) to hide the "Broadcaster is deaf, type !deaf in chat" rather then staying on the screen all the time.

Basically it is abit like your another extension BIP, where we can input the text, and it would be nice to have that background color like the ones in the screenshots below as it can be % of transparency, or full solid color at their own liking. This would be great for deaf streamers out there, while some viewers can be aware and acknowledge streamer is deaf, they can always click the button to hide it if they wanted to. This should be something simple to make I believe

So instead of that white box in BIP, I would say the transparency background similar to your CC, but to add color to what they want to set it as. Color picker - http://fieldmanager.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/colorpicker.png should be an option. Thought this would be ideal as viewer doesn't want to see that thing there all the time. Im sure another deaf streamers would put it in good use as well :)

EDIT: And for the button, maybe have "Hidden eyes icons" (https://www.iconfinder.com/icons/314276/eye_hidden_icon) something like that with a click of a button.

Up to you to make it or not <3

Love the simple idea! Could be a fun casual project. Would you expect this to be a full video extension since you want the text to be shown right away?

Sorry for long delay past 2 years my bad as I never received any notification regarding to this.

Would you expect this to be a full video extension since you want the text to be shown right away

Yes that correct until they decide to close the extension for it not to be shown again until they clear their browser's cookies, of course it would return like normally.
