Who I am
🐭 Tamara Temple, aka tamouse
😄 Pronouns: She/her/hers, they/them are also good💻 Senior Staff Software engineer🖌️ Watercolourist👩 Mom to two wonderful, grown women that are changing the world⚡ Fun fact: I wrote my first software app in the summer of 1969, a lunar landing game written in BASIC and stored on punched paper tape, using a tty-33 teletype!
🔭 I’m currently working on
- helping traditionally underserved and marginalized people wanting to get in software development, learning technology and how to navigate these spaces that have traditionally been hostile
- #causeascene academy, and becoming an anti-racist
- Gathering and disseminating the product / project lore of a company, in order to help people onboard
- Creating an impetus for learning, sharing, collaborating, and cummunity around software engineering, both in and out of work
- Leveling up underrepresented and marginalized people in tech, helping them thrive in the tech world
