The crash recovery of PhotoDemon is almost for show

It's really annoying that a crash recovery is of no use at all. Just a little recovery and it crashes. The work I worked on for five hours just vanished like that

You didn't save once during your 5 hour session, or was the file you worked on corrupted when PD (or your PC) crashed?
App\Data\ folder has hopefully some debug logs that could shed some light on the cause.

for me when (for a very few times) the application has crashed
the next time i open there is a recovery dialog ...
