During the 2019-08-29 Maintenance Group Call, the group approved moving forward on the proposal to remove the "layers" property from all terms in Audubon Core. The proposal can be read here.
This proposal will result in changes to the Audubon Core standards documents and to the metadata of nearly all of the Audubon Core terms.
If adopted, this change will close Issue #113 (Darwin Core Geography Vocabulary terms do not have an assigned Layer property).
