Matthew Nielsen raised this issue at the 2020-05-13 Views TG call. Can subjectPart have multiple values or only a single value? This is a general question that applies to terms with controlled vocabulary values. One thing to look at would be IIIF mechanisms for defining parts of images. But then the question would be "what are we describing?" since generally we assume our metadata describes an entire media item rather than part of it. But this is related to segmentation of audio and video files, which also have parts that may have their own metadata.
