Hi,
I'll do my best to not be confusing. I'm working on a data vis project for some researchers and I've ended up with a byproduct that may be useful: DWCHelper

I think people could get some utility out of it. In particular, those who aren't native English speakers might find it useful for more quickly/correctly converting their datasets to DWC Simple. By sharing their .settings files (for now, by opening an issue or emailing it to dwc (at) ssl-mail dot com), they can make the conversion much quicker for other people (DWCHelper pulls suggestions from an alias file that we can continue updating).

It's GPL'd, so anyone is welcome to fork or contribute. The code is pretty clean and well commented and shouldn't be hard to pick up (I built it with no background in Go programming or anything), and there's very little left to work on.

I need to know whether there is any interest in the project. If so, I'll commit to finishing the TODOs listed in the README and help someone else take over! Otherwise I'll probably archive it, since we aren't going to be using it in our thing.
