Available settings

  • Metadata: Display the metadata on the screen. Chunked: Scroll in the same manner as FM radio data, Party: Scroll letter by letter, Off: Display "Bluetooth" at all times.

  • Autoplay: Begin playback as soon as the bluetooth device connects. Default: Off

  • DSP: If your vehicle is equipped with the DSP Amplifier, select weather to use the digital or analog input (coaxial or six-pin connector). Default: Default (Whatever your radio is coded to do)

  • Lower Vol. On Reverse: Automatically Lower the Volume in Reverse Gear. Default: Off

  • Handsfree: Enable / Disable Calling. Note that this will also disable the connectivity LEDs. Default: On

  • Mic Gain: The gain of the microphone audio. The lower the number, the less sensitive the microphone will be. Default: -23dB for HW 1.x and 0dB for HW 2.x

  • Call Vol. Offset: This setting defines how much louder the call audio should be when a call comes in. This is NOT compatible with "Call Mode: TCU". The best way to set this setting is to place a call, then count the number of pushes to the Volume Up button on the Steering wheel to attain the most comfortable volume for the call. That value should be used as the offset.

  • Call Mode: Toggle the use of "TCU" mode, where call audio is piped to the amplifier or radio over the Telephone audio wires, or if it should only use that mode when it cannot use the regular audio path. NOTE: Not available for HW 1.x users because it isn't necessary to toggle it.

  • Comfort Blinkers: Set how many blinks you would like when using one-touch blinkers. Default: 1

  • Parking Lamps: Enable the parking lamps (Angel Eyes on the E39, side markers on all other vehicles). NOTE: Does not work on the E46, E83, E85 or E86.

  • Comfort Locks: Lock the doors at 10km/h, 20km/h or do not lock them at all. Default: Off

  • Comfort Unlock: Unlock the doors when the engine is shut off (Pos 1), or when the key is to be removed (pos 0). Default: Off

  • The Firmware version is reported along with the Serial Number and build date for the unit.

  • Clear Pairings: Clears all previous pairing records on the BlueBus side.

Notes:

  • BlueBus will automatically pause the music source when the radio is turned off

  • When turning on pairing mode, any existing Bluetooth connection is terminated

  • In manual mode, it's possible that nothing will happen when you try the Next / Prev buttons. If this is the case, your device does not support track seeking. Disable manual mode to continue using BlueBus as normal.
