The examples have no home in this project, and as they are unloved, unmaintained, and contain a variety of poorly licensed, incomplete and misleading practices, they should be completely removed.

Better sources are within libopencm3, or any of a variety of open source projects based on STM32 parts.

This also updates all documentation to reflect current code base.

They should be in a standalone repository, that can focus on clean,
easy to follow, well documented, well tested examples.

If you just want some example binaries that you can use to test your
installation is working, the libopencm3 project has various blink
projects for all the STM32 Discovery boards.

I really don't like removing examples from the codebase.
We're just getting support for the F0 boards, I really wanted an simple test if the programmer/compiler toolchain worked.
The libopencm3 has no examples for the F0 boards.

Perhaps there should be just a sanity check for boards. There doesn't have to be many examples, just something to test the board/chip support of stlink.
