When you use the 'hg status', and a web view is rendered, and then you press the commit button, after 15 seconds, a dialog is presented telling you so.

According to Allan:

allan
the API doc: https://github.com/textmate/textmate/blob/master/Frameworks/HTMLOutput/src/helpers/HOJSBridge.mm#L137
the Mercurial bundle shouldn’t really care about the result of calling commit, I assume it used the sync. version because it was easier
when it probably should just give a dummy handler and use async.

I've had a look through the source, and I'm afraid I'm not much help.

Steps:

  1. View the status of a file or folder.
  2. Click the 'Commit' button.
  3. Wait...
  4. The TM icon will bounce, and a (hidden) dialog is shown.
