When this notification is posted, then VoiceOver reads the name of the new tab being switched to, enabling easier navigation between open tabs.

Merged as 95ce9d5.

I noticed that ⌘1-⌘9 doesn’t always read the tab we move to. Though using the next/previous tab keys have a similar issue in that they don’t always speak the menu item chosen (Select Next Tab), but they do always speak the document’s tab name.

Don’t see how we can affect this though, might just be some heuristic to suppress speaking the notifications when too many fire in a short time interval.
