E_ALL includes E_STRICT since PHP 5.4.

We have a few issues with E_STRICT through txplib_theme.php, the admin themes and the timezone class, as we call static methods without explicitly declaring them static (this was intended as a PHP 4 compatibility hack).

Textpattern really (I mean really) shouldn't cause any notices, errors or warnings; not even E_STRICT. Debugging gets very tiresome (which is what we all should do when developing something) seeing the same old message again-and-again, and out-of-the-box Textpattern's even deliberately deliberately suppresses various issues.

Not exactly the ideal solution.

I know. We are gladly accepting patches with the ideal solution.

so this was posted back in March. It's August now and I had a first-time-ever installation of textpattern and it is still an issue ... bummer :(
