Installing with cpanm gives this error for me:
"AuthorID" is not exported by the Pinto::Types module at /Users/friedmab/lib/perl/lib/perl5/MooseX/Types/Base.pm line 97.
In latest version of Pinto::Types ( 0.044) the type is called "Author". I guess it used to be called AuthorID.
In Dist::Zilla::Plugin::Pinto::Add in line 11 "AuthorID" is imported from Pinto::Types and the "author" attribute isa => AuthorID. So both look like they need to be changed to Author.
After making that change it installs fine for me.
P.S. this is Brad from Genentech
any news about this issue?
Bumping this issue.
Currently none of the pinto peripherals that make pinto an exciting prospect (such as the dzil plugin) work.
The core changes to pinto have been released to cpan, but pintod, Pinto::Remote, and this are broken.
awesome thanks, I'd offer to help but I'm new to pinto.
The best way to help is just use pinto -- kick the tires an submit issues. In the meantime, you can still use pinto to create and manage a repository on the local disk. When pintod and the dzil plugin are fixed, you'll be able to use them with the same repository.
Sorry for leaving this open, but it looks like this has been fixed since about last May. There may be other dragons, but all the Pinto modules are now compatible type-wise.
