Page Watcher

This program watches a webpage or portion of a webpage and will act on the result, for example send an e-mail with a diff or push linked files to another place.

Idea

I actually find myself writing cronjobs that “watch” a webpage and do stuff as a result of changes on that page quite often. My most common use-cases are “watch this list of linked files and push up-to-date versions to this git repo” and “send me an email when that page or portion of a page has changed”.

Most of the steps take strings as an input and output strings too, thus I'm currently investigating if this can be constructed in a rack-like manner, instead that you pass (a list of) strings around rather than rack requests/responses.
