@kuriyama kuriyama - Upgrade to 3.1.2. 2402479
nox - Update multimedia/libxine to 1.2.1 with a commit merged from hg
  to fix DVB support. (which still is broken for tuners using
  hardware pid filtering, like when running webcamd with
  "-m dvb-usb-init.force_pid_filter_usage=1".)

- Add patches to fix build of ports depending on libxine to:
  audio/amarok,
  graphics/gimageview [1], graphics/pornview [1],
  graphics/osg [2], graphics/osg-devel [2],
  multimedia/emotion,
  x11/kdelibs4 [3],
  multimedia/kmplayer,
  multimedia/konverter,
  multimedia/qdvdauthor [4],
  multimedia/vdr-plugin-xineliboutput,
  multimedia/xfce4-media [5],
  multimedia/xine_artsplugin,
  multimedia/k9copy-kde4 [6]

- Fix RUN_DEPENDS= xine... which should be LIB_DEPENDS for audio/atunes . [7]

- Mark multimedia/phonon-xine BROKEN which refuses to build with
  libxine 1.2.x and is deprecated upstream. [3]

- Disable XINE knob for x11/eaglemode for which I don't have a fix. [2]

- Note: multimedia/kaffeine runs after rakuco's x11/kdelibs4 fix,
  but it only shows a green window at least with mp4 or ts files.
  (avi files and audio still work.) It seems the kaffeine developers
  have found this too and are now switching away from libxine in
  their git repo - so I guess we'll have a broken kaffeine at least
  until they release a new version.

- Bump PORTREVISIONs for ports depending on libxine by default.

- Add optional libbluray support to multimedia/libxine and
  multimedia/vdr-plugin-xineliboutput.

@infracaninophile infracaninophile - Release 2.8
 - Radical changes to the cache: now stores a record for every
   file that could affect the generated INDEX, which ports
   those files belong to and the timestamp of the file.

 - Default update mechanism is now to compare timestamps with
   what is in the cache. Doesn't need to parse the output of
   any update mechanism (although you can still do that.)

 - Added new make-readmes command to create a tree of README.html
   files.

@tota tota - Add a new port: graphics/R-cran-rtiff
  This package will read and write TIFF format images and return them
  as a pixmap object. Because the resulting object can be very large
  for even modestly sized TIFF images, images can be reduced as they
  are read for improved performance. This package is a wrapper around
  libtiff (www.libtiff.org), on which it depends (i.e. the libtiff
  shared library must be on your PATH for the binary to work, and
  tiffio.h must be on your system to build the package from source).
  By using libtiff's highlevel TIFFReadRGBAImage function, this package
  inherently support a wide range of image formats and compression
  schemes. This package also provides an implementation of the Ridler
  Autothresholding algorithm for easy generation of binary masks.

dougb Add what I hope is a more robust fix for the problem of not being able
to restore a session. Building WindowMaker with clang found these
problems, including the one genuine typo in osdep_bsd.c that seems to
be responsible for (most/all?) of the session restoration problem.

Patch still under discussion upstream, but I feel comfortable bumping
PORTREVISION at this point because these are actual bugs that need
fixing, and it 100% solves the restoration problem for me at least.

@osokin osokin Update slowfs_cache third-party module from 1.6 to 1.7.
Do not bump PORTREVISION because this module disabled by default.

<ChangeLog>

2012-02-28    VERSION 1.7
  * Fix on-disk cache size calculation.
    Since the initial release, recorded on-disk cache size was
    decreased twice for purged content (once during cache purge
    and once during subsequent cache update).
    This resulted in recorded on-disk cache size being much
    smaller than in reality, which could lead to on-disk cache
    outgrowing defined "max_size" parameter.
    Patch from Pyry Hakulinen (via ngx_cache_purge, months ago).

  * Append path of the file being cached to the slowfs process
    title.

@pgollucci pgollucci gnats4 will core dump on a cvsup'd gnats index with default settings.
The following patch will fix this.

A local gnats mirror is often the only way to rip out patches in a
format which is usefull for further PR handling / patching, so it will be
nice if the default database type does match the upstream (gnats-freebsd).
Maybe this trivial fix helps even others to move from gnats to gnats4
