A Tmux plugin that is my way of doing neovim's term mode. Also useful when you want to open a tiny pane to quickly execute a program and then close it. The id of the pane is remembered even if you switch panes so you can close it from any pane in the current window.

Bindings

prefix + C-m Open/Close the drawer

Installation with Tmux Plugin Manager (recommended)

Add plugin to the list of TPM plugins in .tmux.conf:

set -g @plugin 'thornycrackers/tmux-drawer'

Hit prefix + I to fetch the plugin and source it.

Manual Installation

Clone the repo:

$ git clone https://github.com/thornycrackers/tmux-drawer ~/clone/path

Add this line to the bottom of .tmux.conf:

run-shell ~/clone/path/tmux-drawer.tmux

Reload TMUX environment:

# type this in terminal
$ tmux source-file ~/.tmux.conf

You should be good to go!

You can’t perform that action at this time.
