Hey Guys,

On Travis we are seeing intermittent Capybara::TimeoutErrors, switching to Selenium fixes this issue. I would love promote capybara-webkit as a good solution for use on Travis, but this makes it a bit of a blocker.

Can we get some more information here? What was the test driver doing when it timed out? What was it expecting the server to do?

joshk commented Feb 22, 2012

I am not sure what extra info to give, feel free to clone the repo and try it on Travis.

The test suite is tiny, and the setup is super basic, the bare minimum.

Sorry I can't give more info :/

I'm seeing the same behavior on a somewhat minimal app and test suite.

Thanks guys, we'll take a look at those apps. Let us know if you find out anything else.

@jferris Was there any conclusion after looking at the apps?

Oops, I forgot about this. When I ran it locally, I didn't see the timeout errors. We haven't had other users reporting this, and this issue is really old (my fault), so I'm going to close this.
