Migrating from Rails 3 to 3.2 method of using Flutie, but I'm getting the above error. Here are the steps I took:

  • Removed Old flutie css files
  • Renamed app/assets/application.css to css.scss
  • Turned on asset pipeline
  • Updated the bundle
  • Added @import 'flutie'; to the end of my application.css.scss file
  • Cleared all caches
  • Restarted my server

localhost:3000/root

File to import not found or unreadable: flutie.
Load path: /path/myapp
(in /path/myapp/app/assets/stylesheets/application.css.scss)

Extracted source (around line #8):
7:
8: <%= stylesheet_link_tag "application", :media => 'all' %>
9: <%= javascript_include_tag "application" %>
10: <%= csrf_meta_tags %>
11:

Flutie is installed:

gem list flutie

*** LOCAL GEMS ***

flutie (1.3.3)

Not an issue. Turned out to be an out of date config/application.rb
