@alvesbraga

I'm getting the following error when uploading an image file with .png extension.

PaperClip - 3.4.1
Cocaine - 0.5.1
file name = fototeste.png

Command :: identify -format '%wx%h,%[exif:orientation]' '/var/folders/1r/48l5r6dj5bxdj0dswdp98cjc0000gn/T/fototeste20130226-46185-vzvgpd.png[0]'
[paperclip] An error was received while processing: #

It's working properly when using .jpg files.

@djcp

What operating system? Can you run "identify -format '%wx%h,%[exif:orientation]' " (or some other combination of identify options) manually against the file that's failing? This may not be a paperclip issue.

@lutfidemirci

same issue. Mine is Mac OS X Mountain Lion.

@lutfidemirci Does running the same command in the terminal manually give the same error? It if does give the same error, then it could be a problem with ImageMagick.

@lutfidemirci

Yes, It is an issue about system. I run this commands and worked for me.

brew install libtool --universal
brew link libtool

Thank you lutfidemirci, I had the same issue and your command worked for me!

@djcp

Is there some way we can document this so as to save everyone time? Did this error creep up after an OS update? Is there some common context that caused this error that we can find?
