A 'viz' is a bit of JavaScript that fetches filtered scraped data (using JSON, CSV or whatever – format still not defined) and displays it in interesting ways inside a div class='viz' element in the page.
At least, it must be possible to tell the viz what its dimensions are - and there may be other parameters relevant to the data itself, too.
