Due to popular demand, we should probably do this, although it'll be pretty ugly

Maybe it may be less ugly if disabled on message bodies only and on expanded messages only, don't you think?
Cheers

I often Cmd+"+" my message pane (depending on which monitor I'm on...) and doing that with Conversations causes several issues...possibly related to this scaling issue.

Having the main message type so much smaller than the from, etc, lines makes focusing on what your reading a bit cumbersome. Maybe going the otherway with the scaling or keeping it at 100% plus some leading would help improve the readability and "focusability" when moving through the messages.

Thanks for a great and promising add-on!

Please try this out. The option is in the addon's options, under the "advanced" tab. I take no responsibility for the resulting ugliness of the conversation view :-).

Use
http://jonathan.xulforum.org/files/gcv-nightlies/201107011158-2.0b1+.xpi
if you're running Thunderbird 5.0. There's no UI in there to flip the
pref, so go to Preferences > Advanced > General > Config editor and
flip conversations.tweak_bodies to false.

Thanks for that info (sorry for the lag). It worked great and I'm back to using Conversations view regularly. :)
