This release contains a first version of the new account setup. It's still a bit rough around the edges and probably not as stable as our typical betas. That's why we won't make this version available via F-Droid or Google Play.

If you wish to test the new account setup flow without updating your existing K-9 Mail installation, use k9-6.709-different-application-id.apk.
