  1. updated README

  2. updated cabal file for the new languages

BTW, I think we do not need to add all the xml files in the
    Extra-Source-Files section.
  3. integrated the changes from Kate using 3-way merge

    Our and Kate's modification on bash.xml, javascript.xml and perl.xml
has been successfully merged with no conflict. The corresponding
.bkp file is now the latest upstream version.
The changes on haskell.xml and literate-haskell.xml by Nicholas Wu
has actually been merged into Kate repo, only with some XML format
adjustment. So the current version is identical with Kate's and no
    .bkp files are needed.

  5. New, compressed format for classes. authored
Two-letter class names are now used for default styles, and detailed
lexical information is omitted unless the new OptDetailed option is
specified. Also, the "Normal" style is no longer used, and spans
are not used for "normal" markup. The result is significant
compression of the highlighted source (in one test, 191K -> 72K).
NOTE: you must update your highlighting CSS stylesheets to
use the new two-letter identifiers. There are new versions of
the three standard CSS files in the css directory of the
    source distribution.
A new -d/--detailed option has been provided in the Highlight
    executable. This selects OptDetailed.
