  • Reduced build time
  • Reduced download size if a user does not use GNOME Platform. Otherwise no change thanks to flatpak deduplication.
  • GNOME Software should show smaller download size.
  • Could be directly transformed to snaps.
  • When Nuvola changes, no need to rebuild individual apps.

There will be only a single flatpak app with Nuvola 5.
