  • this repository contains only libraries for different programming languages and is only useful for software developers. Most of the packages contain the source code.
  • Repository URL: https://npackd.appspot.com/rep/xml?tag=libs
  • Currently only a few packages are available.
  • packages are updated regularly. The current update rate is about 3 months.
  • All software packages in this repository can be installed for free for private use. No trial versions are present. Please consult the corresponding licenses if you want to use them commercially.
  • Only stable packages are added to the repository (exceptions are packages with no existing stable versions).
  • all download sites are tested using [http://www.urlvoid.com URLVoid]
  • all downloads are tested using [http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/ Microsoft Windows Essentials]
  • all software is available in english
  • SHA1 (cryptographic checksum) is defined for every package (exceptions are packages where different versions are distributed using the same URL and the re-distribution is not allowed)
  • all packages have icons
  • a package should not install unrelated software. This also applies to packages without automatic installation that install unrelated software by default.
