100 mBTC Bounty - New Bar Graph Style (Step Chart) #82
Comments
Thanks for the feature request. I added a style option for this. Please see BarChart02.java. You'll have to use the latest snapshot jars of course. The contour plots isn't something I have time for right now, but I agree that it'd be a great chart to have. I'll put it on my todo list. |
Hi, Thanks for the feature, I actually had something slightly different in mind. I was wondering if it would be difficult to implement. By outlines I meant not closed bars, but rather something similar to the figure attached. It will be useful to have the ability to fill them with a color as well (as in the next figure). My final goal is to produce figures shown in two graphs here, I haven't found how to draw line on top of the bar chart, is there an easy way to do this. I find your library easy to work with, it produces nice PDF outputs, which is what I require, and would love to continue using it, thanks for your effort and consideration for features. |
Ah, I see what you mean. I can implement that. |
I want to work in this one ,is it still open? |
Yeah, it's all yours if you want. |
is it done ? or still open bounty |
@joshafest I haven't heard a single peep. @on247 Are you working on this or can @joshafest take a crack at it? |
hey man relax....i can help you. In core java. But first i have to go through your xchart. |
I will be working on it , yeah |
The curve isn't necessary. I think @on247 claimed this bounty first, so let's see if he'll give it up for you. |
Fair enough. |
Hi, I just recently discovered xchart, and I loved it. Has very nice features. and easy to use.
I have seen that this project is being actively maintained, and I thought I would request a feature:
Is it possible to have histograms with outside lines only ? (not filled with color I mean).
I have also saw a request on density plots, that would have been a very nice addition.
