- 1 lemon
- 1 orange
- 1 lime
- 1/2 c water
- 1/2 c sugar
- 1 bottle red wine (cheap, Spanish)
- 1 - 2 c carbonated water
- 2 Tbsp brandy
- Cut fruit into 1/4" slices and then cut the slices into halves, or quarters for the orange.
- Put the end slices in a small saucepan.
- Add water and sugar to the saucepan and boil until sugar dissolves.
- Cool for 30 min so you don't burn yourself.
- Squeeze liquid from fruit ends into syrup.
- Discard fruit ends.
- Combine syrup and remaining ingredients and refrigerate for at least 24 hours.
- Eat the wonderful, wine-soaked fruit as you drink the sangria.
