Dear tine20-crew

Do you have a roadmap for migrating from extJS to Vue.js hence the Web-UI?

I have just seen the new north panel in 2019.08.1. Please understand my following remarks not as feature requests but they reflect my user experience:

  • The font is too small. Shall users utilize the browser's internal scaling or does the new UI comes with an settings field?
  • Will touch-support be better than for extJS (for some apps there is no native app)? The design is too delicate to touch atm.
  • Have you thought about infinite scrolling (atm the concept is paginating)
  • Please make use of shortcut keys wherever possible, even in context menu
  • The tree panel elements are too small to reflect their task
  • Please preserve "real" windows (not only overlays)
  • A felxible addon concept for later use would be nice (a plugin may simulate a click to a button or open a new window and so on).

I would love to see scetches or anything if you have already ideas for the new UI.

All the best
Johannes
