PHP Fatal error:  Cannot make static method Tinebase_Model_Converter_Interface::convertToRecord() non static in class Tinebase_Model_Converter_DynamicRecord in /www/htdocs/tine/Tinebase/Model/Converter/DynamicRecord.php on line 21

have this error when php setup.php --update.

My best guess is that you have copied the extracted content of the Tine archive to the same path of your current Tine installation. If that is true, you have mixed up two (or maybe even more) Tine versions. It is absolutely not the right way how to update Tine.

Back up your Tine database and copy the new Tine files to a new (different) directory on the same level, then rename the old one and apply this (old) name to the new directory. When finished, try again. (Every time I update Tine, I do it like this.)

yea, gerry, you were absolutely right. Mixed up my memories with other updatingprocesses and copied new files into the old folder. Doin it with a blank extracted folder is fine.
