Q: The controls are not working but everything else is.
A: The plugin now automatically authenticates with GPMDP so this should not happen, if this does check that you have a .settings.json file at %appdata%\Google Play Music Desktop Player\json_store\
Q: Nothing is working, neither the controls nor am I getting any info from GPMDP
A: The plugin now should automatically change your settings so that PlaybackAPI is on. Check to make sure GPMDP has access through your firewall (GPMDP should tell you if it doesn't on every reboot). If that doesn't work check to make sure you have a .settings.json file at %appdata%\Google Play Music Desktop Player\json_store\
Q: Do I need to keep any of the skins included in the installer open?
A: No this is a legit rainmeter plugin, not a lua script. It functions similar to the NowPlaying and Spotify plugins. In fact it should be pretty similar to those plugins and should be easy to implement. There is an included skin in the installer which should help you get started, and it should be pretty easy to change a skin from use NowPlaying/Spotify to this plugin
Q: I am a skin author am I allowed to include the .dll files in my skin?
A: Sure, look under the releases tab and you will find the latest x86-32 and x86-64 release. Remember you will need to rename them to them same name before you include them in your installer. You should no longer need to include an auth skin with the latest release.
