I've already created the logging framework so all that remains is adding the calls to it.

Ensure returns are not broken as these may not be apparent in coffeescript.

I've also added backup/restore functionality to the store utility namespace to make debugging and testing easier in the future, and especially when dealing with any issues discovered by users.

See 5205a63 for the changes.
