Ezra Project 0.10.0 features a newly developed module search functionality, a translation comparison function, localization support and various small improvements and fixes.

Note-worthy improvements are:

  • Module search functionality
  • Translation comparison function
  • Localization support & German translation
  • Possibility to filter on "recently used tags" in the tags filter menu
  • Clipboard copy functionality - selected verses can be copied to the clipboard using ctrl + c
  • CentOS 8 package available for the first time

Ezra Project 0.9.0 is a release with a few usability enhancements and installation packages for additional systems/distributions, most notably macOS.

Three note-worthy improvements are:

  • Tags can now be shown in a column next to the bible text (alternative to in-line mode).
  • Section titles from SWORD modules can now be shown/hidden based on an option in the menu.
  • Information about SWORD modules can now be shown before installation when using the bible translation wizard.

With this release Ezra Project becomes available for the following additional systems/distributions:

  • macOS - signed & notarized DMG, compatible with macOS 10.14 Mojave
  • OpenSuse Leap 15.1
  • Debian 10
  • Linux Mint 18

Furthermore, the Windows package now comes as a one-click installer.

Ezra Project 0.8.1 is a bugfix release.

Three note-worthy improvements are:

  • Support for all languages of ISO-639-1/2/3. This enables the usage of all the available Sword modules.
  • Added sync functionality for Sword modules that have been installed by other programs. Those modules are now also available in Ezra Project and synced on start-up.
  • Static Sword library now included in Ezra Project. This means that Ezra Project will run on more systems, because there is no specific dependency on Sword packages anymore.

This is the first Ezra Project release that works on Windows (tested on Windows 10!).

Besides the Windows support a few things have been improved:

  • Improved performance for bible installation wizard (UI does not block anymore for certain actions)
  • Improved layout of toolbar
  • Automatic detection of books available in the current bible translation - with adaption of the book selection menu

Ezra Project 0.7.0

This is the initial public release of Ezra Project for the Linux desktop. It comes with the following features:

  • Add/remove bible translations from SWORD repositories
  • Browse bible books
  • Create tags and assign them to verses
