Hi,

from some proprietary IDEs (Keil, IAR) we know some kind of statistical display of the cpu time spent in functions.
Segger SystemView gives this information on a task level.

do you think it might be worth investigating the statistical representation of PC samples transmitted via the SWO port?

Hi hackrid,

could you explain in more deep.
I guess you want to do instrumentation like ending function id before and after executing a function. This is similar to SystemView where its not only possible on task level but also on function like level (using user entry/exit or similar).

A first implementation for handling all current swv (instrumentation and hardware) data have been implemented.
