There is no license provided with the code.

The license was available in the comment at the top of the code file, but to clarify I've added and explicit license file. It's Modified BSD, basically do anything you want with it as long as you don't claim you built it.

Oh, and please don't use it as part of a puppy-kicking library. I think I would object to being involved with such things.

Sorry for the noise. I was reviewing my use of third-party code and game-shim was the only one that didn't have a separate license file, but I should have looked in the code file.
