Intel HD615: Device ID: 0x1e590000 not supported #23
Comments
ioreg.txt is not helpful. IORegistryExplorer/File/Save a Copy As ... HD615 is not supported at the moment. IOReg will determine if it can be added. |
Sorry for that. |
What motherboard or device? |
Hardware is the brand new "Lattepanda Alpha 864": Emergency boot is no problem. Many thanks again! |
Two major issues |
I checked with Ubuntu Linux, the audio codec reported by /proc/asound/card0/codec#0 is: The display wasn't connected directly, but through a Yamaha receiver. Both were switched on and proper input selected. Desktop showing. The setup works with Windows 10 and Ubuntu... |
Need an IOReg that shows the HD 615 HDMI codec and a display (Yamaha) connected. |
Sure thing! Should I switch to /ig-platform-id/0x591b0000 again before trying this? |
No. OK. |

HD 615 HDMI audio codec now showing |
I used the latest "testing" build from novaspirit in this last one. Ioreg and current config.plist. |
novaspirit?? |
Novaspirit is the guy who first came up with a working clover based solution for this particular machine. He has a config set he maintains on: OK, I switched back to 0x591b0001 (which breaks gfx acceleration), connected the TV directly and this is the output: |
We are not communicating |
I'm really sorry, please stay patient with me. OK so I sincerely hope these will now be more helpful: BTW: |
OK, set ig-platform-id/0x591e0001. Reply with IOReg and config.plist |
OK. |
Add the 3 con1 patches to config.plist/Devices/Properties. Restart, reply with new IOReg and config.plist. |
HD 615 HDMI audio codec gone. |
It works now! Thank you so much for your patience! |
Hi,
I'm desperately trying to get HDMI Audio to work on the new LattePanda Alpha using Mojave.
Almost everything else works like a charm...
Here's my ioreg and acpi output:
