Brand new user to the Tomahawk player. Unable to drag and drop Spotify playlists.

Is there a tutorial for Tomahawk that is less than 2 years old anywhere?

Macbook user here.

I'm in the same boat as cgm, would be cool to see this working!

[Edit] For clarity, if I attempt to drag a Spotify playlist to the Tomahawk client nothing happens, a similar problem seen in issues #464 and #470. It seems like in #511 there will at least be some sort of parsing response.

No response for months, I think tomahawk and hatchet have been abandoned.

Not sure we're going to fix Spotify playlists any time soon. Should probably switch over to Spotify's HTTP-API at this point. Any takers are welcome.

You can use https://github.com/jnylen/spotify-backup which will create xspf files for usage in Tomahawk with: python spotify-backup.py --format xspf

Got the "blocking" icon on mouse when trying to drop a playlist on Tomahawk.

When dragging a song onto Tomahawk nothing happens and this appears in the log:
