I'm trying to document a Category for NSString.
While the documentation is generated and shows in the Documentation section of the Organiser it never shows up in the quick help tab.
NSString (TSDAdditions) extends the NSString class to provide custom functionality.
@interface NSString (TSDAdditions)
Returns YES if the string is empty
- (BOOL) tsd_isEmpty;
If I create and document a category of one of my library classes it works..
Later versions of Xcode require you to specify docset platform family via --docset-platform-family. Not sure about exact strings you pass here, take a look into docset documentation frorm Apple. Not sure if it affects foundation/custom categories though. Closing for now, but feel free to comment in case you have more information.
I have set the --docset-platform-family setting to the value iphoneos, and that made it quickview work for other classes and categories of my own classes but not fot categories of the foundation library.
Do a small test with the code I posted it and you will see the problem.
I see. This might be an issue with Xcode. Will reopen and tag as known bug.
