emoji_analysis

This analysis is based on the tutorial provided by Prismoji (https://prismoji.com/2017/02/06/emoji-data-science-in-r-tutorial/#part2) Twitter data was extracted using the twitteR library using the following hashtags:

  1. '#ClassicalMusic'
  2. '#Composer'
  3. '#MusicHistory'
  4. '#Opera'
  5. '#Classicfm'

The purpose of the study is to understand how people are perceiving classical music by examining the emojis they use. The associated blog can be found here (http://www.studiocjc.com/emojis-and-classical-music/).
