I'm use trying to use rpyc on linux with mono+IronPython
I need to glue CPython with IronPython on linux to call a C# application

When doing it on windows, everything worked like charm.

Doing it on linux under mono exposed a problem with signal module
(I've raised an issue on IronPython
http://github.com/IronLanguages/main/issues/69 )

the Exception raised from it wasn't ImportError
can we widen the the expect on safe_import to any Exception ?
(I know it isn't recommended todo so)

or maybe doing it under this condition:

if (os.name='posix' and sys.platfrom='cli')
