Unaligned headers and cells after reordering rows and reloading data in Chrome #261

I only reproduced this bug in Chrome (Safari not tested). Reproduced with jqGrid 4.3.1

How to reproduce:

1) Create a grid, specifying col width for each column
2) Manually move a row into the grid
3) Call setGridParam with new data

After that, the grid displays data cells with a default width, not specified values . As a result, data columns are no more aligned with headers.

It seems to be related to a specific bug on webkit with fixed table layouts.

+1 : Any fixes or hacks to correct this problem in 4.3.2?

I just tried setting the width manually as a hack $('#EventData td:eq(0)').css({'width':'5px'}); onloadcomplete with no luck! /cry

Already discussed. It is not true with current Chrome version
