I'm using PeepOpen with TextMate.
Today I've found that when I activate the open file window, PeepOpen crashes rather quickly and doesn't seem to even make it to the point of refreshing the file/directory list.

The console reads:

  • TextMate - PeepOpen: Opening URL peepopen://[path to my project directory]?editor=TextMate
  • PeepOpen - Using Directory as Project Root: [path to my project directory]
  • com.apple.launchd.peruser.501 - ([0x0-0x6c06c].com.topfunky.PeepOpen[1465]) Job appears to have crashed: Abort trap
  • ReportCrash - Saved crash report for PeepOpen[1465] version ??? (0.3.6) to [path]/PeepOpen_2011-11-17-102605_armbp.crash

And excerpt of the crash log reads:

Does this happen with all projects, or just a specific one?

That is a great question that I really should have checked.

The answer is no, I've only encountered one project thus far.

I have worked out that this issue occurs when it tries to access a directory that it does not have permissions for.

One of my directories had the permissions 204 (owner write, other read) (god knows why but anyway)
Seems PeepOpen will crash unless it has both read and execute permissions (500 as a minimum)

Good to know. There was another similar bug. This should help me be able to track it down.
