Lists Nesting by Default #25

I'm not sure if this is expected behavior or if I may have a conflict with another plugin; when I hit while making a list in a markdown file, I'm treated as if I'm trying to continue the same bullet on a new line. However, when I insert another bullet, it remains tabbed.

Key sequence: i* some text<cr>* second bullet

Text output:

* some text
  * second bullet

This holds true for the key sequence: i* some text<esc>o* second bullet as well

You can see my vimrc file as well as a list of plugins as reference; though I did remove all plugins except vim-markdown and saw this same result. Note also that if I then == on the second line, it will correctly move to a left justified position.

If this is expected behavior, is there a trick to avoiding this auto-indentation?

It seems your value for 'formatoptions' is interacting rather unfortunately with my value for 'comments'. My solution? Strip r and o out of 'formatoptions' in markdown files.

Looks good to me; I didn't see your commit and tested it on my own to be sure and it works like a charm. Thanks for the quick response. :)
