Travis-CI status images with branches that have slashes in them are not recognized #537

@Maks3w

Travis-CI status images with branches that have slashes in them are not recognized.

For example, this leads Travis to believe the branch does not exist:
https://secure.travis-ci.org/Maks3w/zf2.png?branch=feature/xxxx

But apparently this makes it display build status for a branch that does not actually exist:
https://secure.travis-ci.org/Maks3w/zf2.png?branch=xxxx

@michaelklishin

Can you explain why? If your branch is named feature/xyz, why should travis link to xyz? Any specific examples?

@michaelklishin

Then it's not code generator that "fails" but recognition of branch names with slashes. And if a branch is not known (the repo you are using as example does not have unit-tests branch in it), Travis probably just uses master status.

@michaelklishin

I rephased the issue to explain what is really going on

@Maks3w

Internally Travis only use the last part of the branch name so if I have a branch named B/A and another named A Travis use A for both
