After installing with sudo python setup.py install I've got:

$ seekwatcher
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/local/bin/seekwatcher", line 887, in <module>
    if not options.trace and not options.file:
AttributeError: Values instance has no attribute 'file'
@trofi trofi added a commit that referenced this issue Aug 9, 2012
@trofi commandline: --file option gone away (fixes Issue #1 on github)
Seen as:

$ seekwatcher
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/local/bin/seekwatcher", line 887, in <module>
    if not options.trace and not options.file:
AttributeError: Values instance has no attribute 'file'

The option is gone in:

So just drop all references to 'options.file'

@mirek: thanks for the report!

I'll try to send it upstream as well.

..did Mr Mason reply? At least he hasn't made any commits since three years (unfortunately, since this tool is close to black magic and could need some advanced features..)

Why is that so bad? it seems to be a clean start under vivid development.. at least until half a year ago^^
